ARB: £1500 fine after criminal conviction for unauthorised LB works

A registered architect has been issued with a £1500 fine by the Architects registration Board (ARB) after being convicted of a criminal offence of unauthorised works to listed building.

The Architects Registration Board (ARB) has taken this action after resolving that being found guilty of a criminal offence that had material relevance to his fitness to practice as an architect required appropriate sanctions under professional competence codes.
